Highlighting the story of 17-year-old Jordan Davis, shot and killed in a Florida gas station parking lot in 2012 after an altercation about the boys' music being too loud, 3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets highlights the real world, and often deadly consequences of racial bias - specifically with regard to black men and boys. The negative portrayals of this group through media as violent and dangerous place an irrational fear in the minds of audiences, forming implicit biases that can prove deadly in the real world.

Join with us in confronting the deadly consequences of racial bias in our culture and media. Use the Sermon Series, Group Curriculum, and clips from the 3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets film to help your congregation and community learn together, combating bias and violence in your community today.

  • The 3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets SERMON SERIES will help you craft a sermon, lead a prayer, or facilitate a Bible study about seeing one another as made in the image of God, how racism and implicit bias are waging violence against those whom God loves, and our calling as people of faith to work for justice.
  • The 3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets GROUP CURRICULUM is created to help you host a conversation or training with your friends, family, small group, or house meeting. Together, you can learn and talk about the violent consequences of racial bias in our culture and media, and create a plan together for how you can combat the violence in your community today.
